Over the past year, we’ve had the pleasure of working on a significant fencing renewal at Loriot Stud, located in the beautiful Kyneton region of the Macedon Ranges. Spanning approximately 8km of new fencing, this project has been both rewarding and a privilege to be part of.

From the outset, this wasn’t just a fencing job – it was a property-wide transformation. We began by working closely with the client to design a full fencing plan for the stud. This detailed planning stage ensured that every paddock, boundary and laneway was carefully thought through before we put the first post in the ground.

The main fencing installed was a 2-rail electrified system using Woodshield posts – a proven combination for equine properties. This setup has delivered excellent results in both safety and containment, while offering a clean, professional look that suits the stud’s standard.

In addition to the paddock fencing, we’ve also completed custom steel yards around the barn, with a few more to be added as the project wraps up. These yards will provide safe handling areas for the horses and support the day-to-day operations of the property.

Seeing the transformation of Loriot Stud over the course of this project has been a real highlight for our team. It’s always rewarding to contribute to a property with such care and consideration for the horses and people who call it home.
