Project Spotlight: Large-Scale Rural Fencing + Steel Fabrication

In 2018, Ballarat Rural Fencing was proud to take part in the development of the Central Victorian Livestock Exchange (CVLX) – one of the largest livestock facilities in the state. Our team was tasked with delivering high-spec rural fencing for the external holding paddocks across this impressive 100-acre site.

Working in close coordination with multiple contractors on site, we installed kilometres of fencing within a tight deadline. Precision was key – we followed detailed drawings to ensure accuracy while maintaining the BRF standard of quality.

As the project evolved, our role expanded to include the custom fabrication of steel fencing, seamlessly connecting the outdoor paddocks to the undercover facility. This demanded technical skill, flexibility, and a commitment to safety.

“BRF were excellent to deal with throughout the project. Compliant and professional.”
John Russell, CVLX Project Manager

This project showcased our ability to deliver on high-pressure timelines while adapting to on-site demands – proving once again why BRF is trusted for complex, large-scale rural infrastructure jobs.
